The National African Energy Wholesalers Association of South Africa (NAEWASA) is a Registered Energy Sector Association.

NAEWASA was initially a New Entrants Commission (the Commission) established by the Department of Energy (DoE) on Thursday, 4 May 2017 at a National Transformation Workshop themed HDSA WHOLESALER WORKSHOP held at Saint George Hotel in Centurion, Pretoria, South Africa.
